Farmer’s daughter bagged 23rd rank in IAS exam

Tapasya Parihar of Narsingpur has secured 23rd rank in UPSC’s main examination. Father of Tapasya is a farmer and mother is village sarpanch. Tapasya Parihar studied class 8th to 12th from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narsinghpur. Tapasya said that after completing 12th from the subject of mathematics, she dreamt of becoming an IAS. she studied 5 years Law from ILS College of Pune after that Tapasya started preparing for UPSC exam.

She spent two and a half years in Delhi for preparing of UPSC and her efforts were successful. According to Tapasya, after failing in first attempt, she created a strategy to to study atleast 8-10 hours and always keep her goal in mind.
